Re: Films

Can we include TV shows in this discussion thread too ? smile

It looks like Being Human and The Inbetweeners are being remade for American television. I admire the taste of the producers but I'm quite skeptical about what the results will look like in the end ;P

It's infectious and who doesn't like pirates?

Re: Films

Inbetweeners would probably be ruined in america, could become saved by the bell-ish.
Not seen Being Human, is it another terrible vampire thing?

Re: Films

Being Human is an excellent drama which happens to include a vampire but also a ghost and a werewolf.

The vampire in Being Human is quite lovely actually big_smile

Re: Films

I present - the trailer for "Paul" (the upcoming film with Simon Pegg and Nick Frost) : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rGp49fMWEuM. Seth Rogen provides the voice for the title character.

Re: Films

Not been on here in a while and i missed this, I have a friend into being human who said something similar (vampires are attractive) but to me i just think they should be terrifying instead of sexy tbh

Paul looks amazing, i love pegg and frost, their haircuts in that trailer make me lol.

Re: Films

I'd like to see "Paul" at the SXSW Film Festival in March but I'm anticipating it to be a wildly popular (and therefore impossible to get into) screening.

Re: Films

I visited see "Up !" final weekend. Great animation from Pixar, naturally. Some theatres showing it in 3 Dimensional. You'd be fine if you do decide did not see it in 3D. There are certainly a few lump in the throat, teary moments (bring a muscles....heh) but on a search engine tend to be also sufficient laughs as well as action scenes. 2 thumbs up

Re: Films

For decades, animated films have entertained children and families and only continue to grow with the appeal of CG animation. The advancements in speed and technique from which these films are made has enabled people to create their own animation films using personal computers.

Shooting a documentary can be fun and exciting but it is also very challenging. Choosing a topic, securing the trust of those you interview, releases, money and all the other myriad of things that go into shooting a documentary can seem like a difficult task that will never get done
