Hello ![]()
I'm new round these parts, but have become quite a big Pirates fan in a short amount of time since seeing them support Graham Coxon last year. Since then I've downloaded the album and Get Even, but my thirst for P&TP tracks hasn't been quenched, they're very moorish, so I downloaded a couple of American radio sessions they did. In doing so I heard 'Not A Friend' and if it is at all possible to fall in love with a song, I did, there and then.
But I'm yet to find a way to purchase or download the studio version, I think it was available as a download when you sign up to the mailing list, but has been replaced with Mr. Understanding live.
If anyone could point me in the direction of a studio version of 'Not a Friend' I'd be very happy indeed.
Thanks Pirates fans

I think your right about it being replaced with Mr Understanding live, I have no idea if its floating around anywhere now. I have a good live version and the studio version (well the one they offered before Mr U)
I'd be more than happy to send you them ![]()

with a mp3 download code
which is the best idea ever I think every vinyl in the world should come with one of those little beauties

is there any other way to get it other than spending 15 pounds on it? i already bought the album and id rather buy the song seperately

I have a friend after it as well
maybe if enough people start shouting we might get the download back?

I reckon best bet is if you ask Stolen how you can buy it via here:

good idea as the download is only for the official album tracks not the extra ones

cos I never noticed it before
so either I am just completely blind (probably) or they decided to be nice and pop it up (awwww)
still wont let me play Blood Gets Thin video though as apparently I dont have the right permissions
do I have to get a note from my mummy to say I am old enough to see blood or tight white jeans?

When you click on Not A Friend it takes you to the Contact section of the site.
If you want to watch the Blood Gets Thin video, you have to go to Babelgum's website.

I didnt click it as my internet crashed yet again
sure I have a virus but cant get my scanner thingy to complete a scan without my computer crashing
yeah I tend to head to Babelgum for a bit of Blood Gets Thin when the mood takes me just find it funny you need permissions or to accept a friend request to see a video embedded on the bands website
