I understand what you mean. Sometimes I get a bit carried away by taking lots of shots. The sorting and editing can get tedious.

I got a nice surprise this month. I received an email in my Flickr account telling me a few of my live music shots were shortlisted for an online guide of Austin (Schmap Austin Guide). This week I was notified that the shortlisted pics made the final cut. You can see them here :

my dad is coming down from Bonnie Scotsland today
havent seen him in ages like years
feels a bit odd as it doesnt feel that long and you dont expect when you are little you will grow up and not see your parents for years

hope the snow keeps light so his train isnt delayed

also for the first time in years I picked up charcoal and did a little drawing
hoping I get a chance tonight to do another
then have fun times lined up for tomorrow which I really cannot wait for

Hello alk, I'm new here and just saying hello. Didn't know if there was a specific thread for that kind of thing so put it here. LOVE Pete and The Pirates. Little Death is on of my all time favourite albums and managed to see them for the first time at The Lexington last week. SO good! Anyway hello again

will say my blood is a proper gorgeous colour

honestly though the dr was shit didnt listen to me at all and came up with some CTS which doesnt fit my symptoms so off to find an osteopath instead
reckon I will have better luck there and hopefully that will be the last time I ever need to go back to that surgery
forgot how much I dislike going (and being ill most annoying thing ever in the world, ever, seriously once you have had a cold why do you need another? you know whats it like that box is ticked)
they accused me one time of taking drugs and drinking (neither of which I do boring I know ) because I said I enjoyed gigs

this year has been a bit of an extreme start has it not
two massive earthquakes, flooding, snow and every time I click on the news site yet another actor musician or such like has died.
talk about a year of sudden changes
