Re: Sport Anyone?

The big one on Saturday, FA Cup 1st round proper...Leyton Orient v Bromley  big_smile  .Got my ticket and cant wait. Last time I went to Brisbane Road (Orient) was a mere 32 years ago yikes to see Palace attempt to go up to the top League (now Prem) with a win there. Other results meant that we had to wait 3 more days but as you can see we went mental behind the goal when we scored  (1:41 on link smile

So back with the Bromley (the birthplace of Punk according to Madchester impressario Tony Wilson. Will do for me) Set on Saturday. In my lifetime we've only played a League club in the FA Cup 3 times. In 1977 we were 0-1 away to Swindon Town with 20 mins left.................... Lost 0-7. Mmmm. Nonetheless, Cup fever!!

Re: Sport Anyone?

Haha was a cracking win for you boys, I went to the Palace v Saints game and what a shocker it was. Took a couple of mates from Uni who had never been to a match and I can't say it was the best one to take them too! Good little draw for you too, Cardiff gives you a good chance for the final!

We just wanted to concentrate on winning the league wink

Re: Sport Anyone?

I don't pay much attention to sport. One friend of mine has organized watching parties for the UEFA matches at a local restaurant bar. I'm the last person to know about rules but I've watched a couple of matches and have enjoyed myself. I like the faster pace - American style football games can be so tedious and make you fall asleep.

It's infectious and who doesn't like pirates?

Watching a tennis match mesmerizes the viewer. The game has a simple elegance that projects a sense of grace. Tennis for beginners is both satisfying and challenging. The game can be played by almost anyone, but soon after you start hitting the ball, or not, you realize that a great deal of skill is necessary to play competitively.

When it comes time to plan your next backyard event, you might want to take a few moments to plan some entertaining events that any of your guests will be able to play.

Re: Sport Anyone?

A sports agent is responsible for marketing athletes and negotiating their contracts with the teams they play for and products they endorse. Negotiating a salary entails getting more money, making provisions for possible injuries and determining the length of a contract. Sports agents meet with coaches, managers, owners and marketing executives on behalf of athletes.

Re: Sport Anyone?

Like thousands of people who watch sporting events, you may wonder how much money an agent makes when an athlete is signed. Sports agents are portrayed as behind-the-scenes individuals who make a ridiculous amount of money.

Re: Sport Anyone?

In the past 25 years, the value of sports memorabilia has only gone up. Because of that, this collecting category offers some good investments. It can also quickly become a very costly hobby.

Re: Sport Anyone?

Sports apparel is one of the main things that help teams stand out on the field or court. But thanks to custom t-shirts and apparel you don't have to be in the big leagues to make a serious impact.
